If you live on the edge of fashion; that is, you don’t worry about what everyone else is wearing, you have your own style, and then that’s fine. You probably have a lot of fun.

However, you know that there are times when your extreme fashion tastes simply cannot be flaunted. You may not like it, but that doesn’t change it. So, you look for ways to continue expressing yourself even when faced with dress codes or times when you have to tone it down, at least a little.

Fortunately, there are ways you can do this without feeling as though you’re sacrificing your tastes. Here are a few examples of what you can do.

If you have tattoos, and the dress code of your school or workplace states that these must be covered, or if you have multiple piercings and only earrings or the very smallest, barely noticeable jewelry is allowed, simply come up with some creative ways to adhere to the policies.

For visible tattoos, keep a light wrap handy—something that will sufficiently cover the tattoo but won’t make you uncomfortable in warmer temperatures. Or simply use a large bandage to cover visible tattoos.

Remove piercings if your dress code dictates it. You can wait until the last minute before you walk in the door in the morning to do this, and re-insert them as soon as you are out the door in the afternoon. The holes won’t grow up in that short amount of time, and knowing that you have your jewelry with you ready to be popped back in will make you happy.

Extreme Fashion For The Cautious Individual – Temporary Tattoos And Piercing

All of us have, at some point of time or the other, contemplated about extreme fashion accessories to improve our style quotient. We often have thought of going in for a tattoo or a piercing to prove that we have it to be the most fashionable individual around. Some of us have gone ahead and taken the idea to its logical conclusion while others developed cold feet and preferred to stay in the background.

Well, there is no harm in trying out extreme fashion every once in awhile. If you are worried about its permanent consequences, you can go in for temporary options. Body piercing is a very cool option where you can easily create the illusion that you have pierced your skin without bringing the needle close to your skin.

You can make use of press-on accessories that will stick to your body as if they have been pierced and fitted. These accessories can be removed without any difficulty. If you want to follow the latest trend of having the name of your spouse tattooed on your body, you can go in for a temporary tattoo that will fade as time goes by. This is particularly useful if you want to give a tribute to your boyfriend or girlfriend but are not confident of the permanency of your relationship.

Another advantage of going in for press on accessories is that there is very little health risk involved. A tattoo done from professional center will be safe but done from any other place may lead to infections or others such diseases. It is best to start with temporary accessories before choosing permanent extreme fashion solutions.

Safe Tattoos

In today’s world, it can be hard to find a place where you can get a safe tattoo. There are many inexperienced tattoo artists that don’t know what they’re doing as far as safety. Tattoos can be very dangerous, causing infection and other problems, if certain precautions aren’t taken. What can you do to make sure you receive a safe tattoo?Ask people that you personally know about what tattoo artists they recommend. If they have gotten a tattoo, ask them if they’ve had any problems with their tattoos and if they like the work their tattoo artist did on their tattoo. You may want to check out the tattoo artist they recommend along with others in your area.
It’s perfectly fine to go to the shop and ask questions. Tell them that you’re looking into getting a tattoo. They should be able to show you example of their work; ask if you can see any examples. If they can’t show you any examples, it may mean that they are inexperienced, and you should not go to them.
If you are able, when you’re at the tattoo parlor, observe the artists. They should be using gloves and sterile needles. If they don’t pull the needles out of a sealed bag, they probably aren’t using a sterile needle. This is one of the best ways you can get an infection from a tattoo. Make sure the artist you’re looking into uses sterile needles.
Research online, also. You can probably find reviews about certain tattoo parlors online and, if they have a website, they may explain the procedure they use. The biggest thing you should look for is experience and that they keep their equipment sterile.

Tattoos have been a part of fashion perhaps even longer than clothing has. They are used to make a permanent statement on a person’s body. Lately people have realized that a tattoo does not have to be big and bold to get noticed. You can use a tiny tattoo to make a strong statement.
Tattoos that are smaller than normal are often a good choice for people who are not allowed to have visible tattoos in the workplace. You can hide them on the back of your neck, on your feet or on the inside of your wrist. Other popular places to get a small tattoo are on fingers, toes, ears or even the inner side of the lips.
There are many common tattoos such as flowers, butterflies, hearts and Chinese symbols. If you are looking for something more creative, consider the beauty of every day objects. Punctuation, for example, can be beautiful in isolation. A question mark may symbolize a period of uncertainty or embracing your curiosity. An exclamation point may be a display of your quick wit. On the wrist, you can use both wrists together to create complementing or contrasting tattoos. Consider the significance of quotes on either wrist with yourself in the center. Punctuation make a great tattoo because it can fit anywhere. You could have a piece of punctuation on each finger and only the most discerning eye would notice.
You can also use nontraditional colors to create a unique tattoo. White tattoos have gained popularity because they are subtle yet beautiful. Look for a white ink that has a bit of shimmer to it and it may only appear in certain light.
Part of what makes a tattoo a wonderful expression is that it is meaningful to the wearer. You might have a word, a phrase or an image that means nothing to others but holds great significance in your life. What you perceive is what makes it beautiful.
