You may pay a bit more for this, but it’s worth keeping your hair healthy for.
Get a trim about every six months. This will get rid of the split ends and keep the ends of your hair healthy. When you get split ends, they break off, sometimes at the same rate that your hair grows, so it’s hard for your hair to gain any length. When you get a trim, it gets rid of those split ends and allows your hair to grow before the split ends return.
